Churchill Final Boards

These are the final boards for the churchill brief which i complete in collaboration with Niall, this was a quick brief due to us both wanting to challenge ourselves, this also allowed us to get this done and out of the way and then concentrate on other briefs. 

Overall i'm happy with the outcome of this brief and feel that we answered it pretty effectively, however if we made it more of a substantial brief we may have been able to get more deliverables. 

Additional T-shirt Idea.

Some T-shirts would also be printed so that students would be able to wear them and then also the teachers would also, this would allow them to get a freebie which all students love, yet at the same time this could be something to look at later on.

The Phone App

The app was the part which we stated they would be placed on there earlier, this was to get the information across in a more student user friendly method, These are the designs which Niall designed and then they would be applied to the actual application on which it would be used. 

These are some of the mock ups so you can see what it looks like to be on the actual deliverable.

Bus Shell Ad

This was something that we thought could add on rather nicely with the funny posters.

When students go to get the bus why not have something that they could read at the bus stop, this could also have some sort of interactive section which they could use aswell, instead of just having this poster on there, this would become something that you need to catch there attention otherwise it will simply just overlook it.

Joke Posters

I wanted to create something which could communicate with the very young audience, this was something which could communicate with them through the use of Lego and also the spot the difference, i feel this could be the most appropriate way of doing this. 

Others ways in which this style of technique could work, these could be 

- Wheres winston (similar to the style of wheres wally)

- Colour in Winston 

- Treasure Hunt for Winston (QTags to find and get more information on winston)

The Book

The book was a way of making sure that they can all link together, this was created with a the same colour palette and then i played with the layout of things. The only way in which this could work would be to make sure that it would stand out. 

These are the final outcomes which i think work best to communicate the way in which we want it too, the colour red stands out the most in comparrison to the black and white background. This book would be used to hold the information when it comes to people wanting to read more and learn more about winston churchill. 

This would also link with the internet and the social media extras.

Social Media

The social media aspect was a large section which will change the way that people will see things, these were so that we would be able to get in touch with there age range, this would prove difficult others ways, but as social media is their biggest outlook now it seemed natural.

Postcards printed

The print quality on some of these designs didn't come out very well, they were only too show the aspect of how things wanted to look and go about, however these could be something interesting about how these could expand into a range so that your able to get such a range that the kids have to select one at random and try to learn the fact. 

The quotes are used to try and make them something which connects on a basis level with the target audience, even though this may work in some lights.

Posters.

This is the irnage of posters that we were able to create, one of them being image based and the other type. these could be placed up around the classroom or cafe so students would read it when they are sat there. The type based ones may need a little work due to them being so lengthy, kids might not be as enticed to try and read them.

The image one is simple and straight to the point, this was the image that we used for the GIF in the end, however we felt that it still worked as a poster.

Postcards

Using the images which we sourced at the start, i created these postcards which use some of the quotes and then some of the images, these would also be given to the young adults.

We have decided to stick to a three colour range, these are the red, white and blue, this way we can keep it with the british flag so were able to promote what is called "winston churchill, the best of britain"
