Collection 100, Camera and Inital Idea Research.

A film, also called a movie or motion picture, is a story conveyed with moving images. It is produced by recording photographic images with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects. The process of filmmaking has developed into an art form and industry.

_______________

This is the work from a guy called Man Ray. This photo gram shows the negative photographs which i was going to do for my first idea, the negatives were going to be made into a pantone style book, so you could flick through and see what they would look like as a movie, you would also then get a memory stick with a stop motion movie on to show them all placed together but i dont think this idea would work as well anymore cause the idea is going to cost a fortune to do as each reel of film would cost around five pounds for each and then you would have to develop these. this would not be worth the outcome as i dont think it would do it any justice.

This then leads me on to my next idea. which was to get one hundred images and then use a microscope to zoom in on certain parts of the images and this would then show me the grain of the image and the correct photo quality, i could then draw these areas in a sketch and this would make it a personal touch. however this then leads away from the film aspect of the whole thing so i need to take it more that way but keep incorporating this general trail of thought.

The third idea which leads on from both of the first two is how i could do the same idea where i would sketch the images that i collect for this project but instead use a macro tool to zoom in close to something to show how i am accurate and precise with my work. To then draw these into the style of a Polaroid

This would then add that extra edge towards them and make them appear nicer and more professional. I then thought about what i could draw and take images off, and because i like the idea of meeting new people and finding things about them.

I first thought of the idea of drawing peoples house keys as each person has there own and its unique to there home, although through revising this idea, its not a personal object as it symbols the house and not the person who owns this.

So i took the idea to the fingerprints as this is unique again but to each person and no two people have the same fingerprint. This could work rather nicely. as it makes the ideal a unique and personal message towards me. however to do this i think it could be enhanced further and show what i think more about.
