Visual Language. Paper Art.

These first images are created for my word Bright. The image which was facing the viewer had alot of bright vivid colours on it so i thought that when i do that they would stand out even more as they would bounce in the wind and as people walked past, but instead it just made a more interactive outcome, i could create this using more vivid colours and then i think this idea could work alot better.

This idea i think worked alot better than the first, it has a certain graphic style about it and the way that the only strong colour on the page was the crabs and i have cut them out so they stand up has made them become even more visible to the eye but only when you look at them from a certain angle. You can see from looking at them from behind that the idea could be developed further but some artists have created work which is similar to these and they have achieve it using plane white paper. I will try and complete this just for the sake of trying, and i will then have both aspects of this for my blog.

This idea didn't work aswell, what i was planning on doing was cutting through the book to each of the pages to the colour sections, this proved alot harder than i first though so i abandoned the idea as the edges of the paper were not cutting straight and then the other sections were alot smaller and more precise, this would not have been a good outcome for what i needed to achieve. This idea could have looked really good if i used a laser cutter to make it a perfect cut but within the time limit we had and the style i wanted to achieve then i used a scalpel.
