Initial Front Cover.

this is the first stage of the process which i wanted to address, i decided to add the three names of the places which i am going to create these hot dog folds for, although i will change how you can see them. I think ill play around with the opacity and the colour so that i can get a perfect balance on what i want from the title to draw the audience in.

These are the style in which the maps will be, i think that if i keep the colour on them then you will be able to see what works best for each of them and what doesnt, it will also make things easier to follow as everyone will know upon looking at this that the green area is hyde park, thus giving them a strong key point in which you can follow.

I then needed a key of which you can follow easy and be able to see what is what and where the key points are on the map, i added circles of colour to the map so you can see where each area is and then dropped the opacity back so that you can see the area underneath to get a more direct impact on whats going on. The key to the left of the map which you can see above is the way to see a little information about each of the areas although i don't think that it will work being that cramped up together i may need to change it so you can read it more easier.

This is what i have achieved so far for the the final outcome of the front cover for one of the hot dog folds. The map is placed to the side so that you can get a much bigger version of looking at it, then the key is to the top left although i think that its rather squashed in and i would like to make it more free in area. i will use the area to the right so that you can see it much easier and then it'll come across more spacious. the rest of the fold i think works although maybe the text in the bottom left of the page where it says "if you have any other questions, ask a second year (most) of us don't bite) maybe that could be played around with a little more so it just looks more visually appealing.
