Its All About The Little Things...

The little things are the ones that make the most difference when it comes down to work like this and i think that this is something which will make the difference between my work being standard animation and something which draws your eyes to other parts around the outside of it.


Clouds...

this was just a little something to make things look better then just having a plain picture with text popping up on it, but by making the images of the clouds into different layers and then making them move around i think this adds an extra factor towards the final outcome and overall makes things just look that little better for this scene.




Birds...

This was a little extra to make something else to look at, the thing that took time on this one was to make you able to see how the birds fly and what it looks like when they all vanish along, i think that this is something that make this scene look that little better. 


Ice...

The ice slowly moving along on this one was something that took me awhile to do and i don't think its one of the best outcomes that i wanted to achieve but it still adds that little extra to the frame and really tested my after effects knowledge cause i had to work with scale and positioning, to make this look right was rather a challenge but i still think it could work overall as a sequence in my 60 second outcome.


Smoke Volcano...

This was the most challenging of all of the extras to add in and its very subtle aswell, this was the smoke moving out of the top of the volcano, i spent a full day trying to make this effect and this is the best outcome that i managed to get but i think that if i tried again i would be able to get a better effect.


However to save time i have used the one which i have managed to gather from doing all the effects on from the tutorial that i found on how to do it, i found this difficult cause the tools that you have on after effects aint as good as what i would expect them to be so this made things that little more challenging.




Birds Desert...

This was similar to the ones which fly around with the sea, but this time made it so that they fly with a more cluster and round motion, this looks more like a group so they have to circle like vultures so these can then all make it looks like the most hungry birds that circle for prey.


Clouds Island...

this was one which i just wanted to make it look windy as it normally is when there is vast spaces of open area, this is something that looks rather chilled and laid back about things, but the little effect of the wind blowing just adds that extra touch which makes it all work up to something that little more special
