Typography - Graham's Workshop

What is type: in essence its a visual representation of a word, placed in a form, its also a way in which you can talk to a person who sit there cause it can be carried through time.

The form and style of type: to a certain degree the different styles and forms of type could be represented as a different style of type and point size.

What we will look at in these sessions: we will work with indesign and we will physically create stuff using no colour only the power of how type can communicate to another person.

Look at.
The first book ever created.

The new revolution for the 21st century is the internet, the past 650 years of rules for type have been basically the same with only a few changes, the exciting thing about the new way to look at things and how to do things can now be changed through the use of the internet,

anyone can put anything up on the internet so anyone can look at anything anywhere at anytime on the internet...

Quark Xpress is a really stable platform to get the information of the computer and onto a piece of paper.
